8.x → 9.x

This guide describes the breaking changes when upgrading from the 8.x to the 9.x release.

What Changed

The 9.0.0 release focused on internal improvements to the Sales Document application. This release refactored internal logic to align with the established architectural pattern and a centralization of Business logic throughout the app.

This refactor also improves the developer experience by solving several of the stability and performance issues in the developer facing Test Harness application.

VC-UI

The VC-UI application is not impacted in this release. Existing integrations, embed configurations, and INITIAL-CONTEXT payloads continue to work without modification.
